In the Albanian shepherd’s inventory, there were various items that he would take with him when herding livestock far into the mountains. The spiritual world and craftsmanship of Albanian shepherds have left behind many handmade objects, creating a rich cultural heritage for future generations.

One of these remarkable items is the water flask, skillfully carved with a knife (bicak). On this flask, we see combined depictions of flowers in harmony with the shape of vine branches, with a sun motif in the center. This object reveals both the spiritual world and the high level of craftsmanship in wood carving, a millennia-old tradition of our people. During the communist era in Albania, these shepherd flasks were kept as decorative items in nearly every home.
We have taken this beloved object, so cherished by Albanians, and redesigned it to bring a traditional drink to the market, one that is also appreciated worldwide. "Doa," inspired by ancient Illyrian names, is the most beloved brand that tastes Albanian, journeys through history, and speaks fluently to the languages of our tourists. This is the heart of the Balkans; this is our rakia.
What makes this bottle unique is its flat, rounded shape, enhanced by traditional engravings inspired by motifs once carved into wood. This blend of heritage detailing and contemporary glass craftsmanship gives the bottle a timeless character, rooted in tradition, yet unmistakably modern.
